Mary Jo Spallina, CNM, IBCLC
|Mary Jo Spallina, C.N.M. is a 2001 graduate of the University of Rochester Nurse-Midwifery Program. Her undergraduate degrees include an AAS from Monroe Community College, and a BSN from SUNY Brockport. She is a board certified lactation consultant and a birth educator with 20 years of Ob/Gyn experience. The word midwife means to be "with women". Nurse-midwifery practice is the independent management of women's health care, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, family planning and the gynecological needs of women. Mary Jo sees patients in our Brighton, Webster, and Greece offices.|
Sandy Lewis, CNM
Sandy Houle CNM is a 2001 graduate of the University of Rochester Nurse Midwifery program. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at SUNY Brockport and has 12 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery and Neonatal intensive care as a member of the neonatal transport team prior to her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Since 2001 she has worked as a Midwife in Rochester at community based health clinics and in hospitals providing family centered care to women and their families. Sandy is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Gina Geraci, RDMS, MS, RPA-C
|Gina Geraci received her undergraduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004. She worked as a sonographer for four years (including WGCA) before returning to Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY where she completed the Physician Assistant Program in 2010. Gina works closely with our obstetricians and gynecologists to provide a full range of outpatient care.|
Hannah Kohl, RPA-C
|Hannah Kohl, RPA-C graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018 from Rochester Institute of Technology with her Bachelor and Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is excited to join WGCA and provide comprehensive and compassionate women’s healthcare. Hannah's special interests include reproductive health and family planning.|
Brittany Blanchard-Collier, RPA-C
|Brittany graduated in 2015 from Rochester Institute of Technology with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She returned to school at Daemen College in Buffalo and earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2019. Brittany's special interests include preventative healthcare and contraceptive management. She is excited to join WGCA!|
Caitlin Ryerson, NP
Caitlin graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She then took her studies to Boston where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in 2010. While in Boston, she worked as a nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital for 9 years. In 2019, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in family medicine from The University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is interested in preventative medicine and family planning. She is excited to join WGCA and expand her practice into women's healthcare.
